Regional Design Scoring Information (1/28/2010)
- Only the 1st Place team in each event is qualified to attend MESA Day on April 17, 2010. (This is different from what is stated in the original MESA Day Handbook which will be adjusted in the next few weeks. The change was due to significant budget cuts to available funds for this event. We apologize for any inconvenience.)
- Teams highlighted in RED were disqualified during the registration process. Major reasons for disqualification included: (Questions should be directed to the appropriate MESA Regional Coordinator.)
- No A-1 record for a student
- Student(s) participating on more than one team.
- Student(s) participating in more than one event during the same time period.
- Too few or too many students on an event team.
- Teams highlighted in YELLOW qualified to attend MESA Day in that event. (Overall winners 1st-5th place are also highlighted in yellow, although this has no bearing on qualification for MESA Day.)
- Explanation of codes used on the scoring sheets:
- NS – Team did not compete.
- n – Team did not meet minimum requirements.
- y – Team did meet minimum requirements for scoring
- In the event of a tie in the top five event scores, the tying teams received the same placement (1st, 2nd, etc.)
